Don't know.......but is it a factory fitted thing or an aftermarket alarm?

(might help narrow the field a bit)

I have the same problem. I put new bateries in and it still made no difference. Mine is a factory fitted alarm. :(

I've heard of problems on the factory alarms before.

Mine is getting worse on range... :(

mine does it sometimes randomly as well, found new batteries have made it less often, dont know if it has been the cause the Battery then still works fine 4 ages in my stereo remote. Stick new batteries in they're only a coplue of quid, mite help, didnt cure mine but must admit it, doesnt happen no where nearly as often.

Also the paseo uses a rolling code fob, so switching between fobs can sometimes the fobs go out of sync and so mite take a few attempts for it to work, dont really understand howrolling code works but know the paseo has it

yup mine does it too....

i find that if you hold down one of the buttons on the key fob (i cant remember thought if its top or bottom), so that the constant light starts to flash, it synchs the fob a alram unit back up. and then it normally works on the next attempt...
