Any tips or tricks on how to move all the gubbins from one door to a second-hand replacement door (of which is minus all the glass, inners and door card)

Particularly concerned about the fixed glass.

We are talking about the OSR door!

Any advice greatly appreciated in advance.

Quick fix is to glue the door up.

A door can be dis=assembled if you just take your time to remove the clips of the card, handles, and expose the door innards. Its not like gutting a duck, but just as greasy.

The moving window comes out by removing the sliders fixings. The lock is a footer but will come - rubbers etc are easy.

The rear window I can't remember. Is it glued in or just fixed in with a rubber mounting? Stripping everything else off will expose whether the thing is glued. The widscreen guys remove windscreen by passing a cheese wire through and slowly cutting through the glue...in a sawing motion. I'd have thought the thing is just held by a rubber moulding.

I think you may end up destroying the rubber to remove the glass in one piece, so may need to go to a scrapers to get another rubber (unless your new one has a good one left!)
