Cruise Control Switch...

Hello Peeps..

I am looking to fit the retro cruise control switch to my March 06 plate 2.0 d4d Avensis estate,i have looked at the post on the forum and i am confident in tackling the job however the first hurdle for me is actually picking up the switch itself so i'm looking for some help in sourcing one short of actually going to a stealer for one.

??Will the one in the link fit,i know its from the USA but there are none to be found in the UK which is rather surprising anyway...

Just make sure that your car will accept it. I found one on eBay and went ahead and bought it only to later find out that the mod listed on here doesn't work for my engine - but I have the 2.2 D4D.

According to this thread it is possible on my motor...Just need the switch.

Try using different search words on eBay. I found this searching for steering wheel. It looks like it might come with the stalk and wiring complete, ready to transplant. (BTW i remember doing this searching when considering fitting cruise to one of mine a while ago, seem to think one from a different car would fit. I'm almost certain there's another thread about it on here, try a bit more digging)

Thanks for the link Alan,problem being though this one i think is off a 2.2 which can't be retro fitted if i'm not mistaken reading the thread i made a link to..

Sorry mate didn't pick that up. It might still work tho, if only you could find out if the wiring and connectors are different.
