Last week I removed and cleaned the EGR valve. !Removed! warning light has come on again with the same code (0400 from memory?). Does it look as though I haven't done the job properly or is there something else in the EGR system that could be unhappy?

Andy.....is there any chance that you reassemled it minus one of its gaskets, the one at the cylinder head end.....? I forgot it was there, and it fell aff at removal, and I found it after a short test drive to Halfrauds for another reason......with bloody light on and in limp mode.

Is there just the one gasket on the EGR....the one where it mates to the engine block/head itself or is there another I have missed?

Other end?.....I seem to be an end short. Is that where the electronic thingy bit bolts onto the top of it with 3x bolts?
