Hi Just looking for some insite.

I'm a new owner of a a celica t sport (33k) I use to driving aggressively but not use to driving aids.

Last night when attacking a long fast corner at around 80 mph [80 mph is 10 mph above the UK National Speed Limit....THIS SHOULD NOT BE BOASTED ABOUT ON THIS PUBLIC FORUM] had a short burst of beeping from the dash and it felt like the brakes came on for a short period either that or the engine revs were cut?

Is this normal? Is this the vsc cutting in?

If so can it be over ridden?

Any advise would be appreciated

Dave

Probably the vsc

I know the button on the right hand side by your knee turns off the traction control, I'm not sure if it turns off the vsc though. Push it to turn off the traction control and see if it happens again

I don't think you can turn the VSC off.

That's what it's there for. If it thinks your going to lose control of the car it's there to help.
