05 Avensis Wheel Speed Sensor Checks - Where Is The Socket?

There is a lot of really helpful stuff here on this subject, especially jumpering pins 4 and 13 and decoding the flashes of the ABS warning lamp

But its not clear which socket is the one to use. Some posts talk of the ABS ECU. On my Avensis, there is a big plug and socket on the side of the Bosch ABS block under the bonnet (the lump on the offside bulkhead with all the hydraulic pipes connected).

That plug and socket is 42 pin and not 16 like the OBD. When I unplug, there are male pins in the base looking up at me, not female pin sockets, so no chance of jumpering there.

Or should I be looking at the 16 pin white OBD diagnostic socket just under the steering wheel to do the jumpering there?

Or is there another ABS ECU socket somewhere else in the car interior which I should be searching for? If so, where is it located?
