Ipod Connection

Hi all.

The wifes 2012 Rav has an iPod connection,but my 2006 T180 doesn't appear to have?

Can one be adapted to fit my existing system which I want to keep as standard?

Cheers for the link sir,but it seems more trouble than its worth and I

only want it for the holiday journey down to Pembrokeshire..guess we'll have to slum it in the wifes basic,slower Rav,but at least we shouldnt break down;~)

Xcarlink off eBay mate.. Bout 75 quid and so easy to fit ! I have one and its awesome ..

iirc have a look at the xcarlink website, it gives details of the cable you need if you want to keep your steering wheel controls working and the correct one for the year of car etc.

The only one that works with the toyota sat nav on your t180 is toyota ipod interface, I have this fitted to my XT5 and tried all the other which don't work. there is also a pinned installation by anchorman and check old topics going back to 2006/7

I have a XT4 from 2006, with the 6 CD multi changer built in audio system - no SatNav. I took the car down to my local audio centre to get an iPod connector fitted and they said it wasn't possible with the 6 CD multi changer because some connection was missing (not sure what they meant by that but they seemed very certain). However the XCarlink site seems to suggest their system can be fitted to any RAV4 - does anyone have any experience of installing one in a RAV4 with the 6 CD multi changer?
