So is it a handbook or a workshop manual? Amazon were selling Haynes workshop manuals for the Celica (all except GT4) for about £10 plus postage.

Handbook manual,

it explains what all the switches are for, how to keep the car in tiptiop condition, what to check regulary stuff that I could do with knowing without taking it to my local garage and spending a fortune.

if I am right in thinking a workshop manual goes into it in more depth????
