2008 Auris Intermittent Wiper Problem

Hi all.

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas?

Have just bought a 2008 Auris 2.2, SR180.

Initially had a problem with the auto lights, but fixed that by repairing the door sensor in the drivers side front.

The main problem I am having is that the intermittent wiper to the front windows does not work.

The wiper works on slow and fast continual wipe, and even on single wipe when pressed upwards, but as soon as it is clicked down, you get one wipe, then nothing no matter how long it is left there.
