Map Installation For Cbu And Make Up.

Hi, I'm from Malaysia. Just wanna know if it's possible installing a GPS for a CBU Prius in my country? Afraid of installing other application devices might disturb the system. Just went to a Toyota centre nearby and got informed that they can't install the map because it's CBU ='(

I am not sure what a CBU Prius is but I have swapped out the stock head unit for a touch screen GPS system in my Prius (Gen3 / 2010 model) and there was no problem with the Prius system. Over on Prius Chat, there are several 'How To' threads and videos so you can see what is involved.
