I've just copied all the meets and events listed on the LOC link onto the calendar, thought it might be a good idea that peeps could have a look at a glance what is on for a particular month....

Only copied the info so its the same as whats printed on LOC....

How do the events work? Do you have to be a member of some other club or anything? It would be cool to get to some meets this summer and put some faces to names.

nope, the events are booked by one of the girls from Lexus Owners Club (soster site), it is asked that you sign up before the event but not 100% necessary, if you want to come along to any of the meets then feel free to pop along....

At the moment we don't seem to getenough support from TOC at the meets, it is mainly the LOc peeps who turn up, it would be very nice if this changed.

So far there have been 2 meets since I joined Heritage motor museum which had a good show from the Sera's and Brooklands where I think it was only myself, Carlogsby (ok i can't spell your name, sorry Carl) and dosenoffer who turned up from the TOC side....

Hopefully this will start to change.

Somehow I just can't get any more people from the Sera Register interested, I always post the meetings but it seems people just can't be ubikd (or they're always busy)

you shouldn't complain Carl, makes your look even more unique....

Mind you the silver one "5ERA" (if I recall correctly) looked pretty sweet at Gaydon last time....

My gf still talks about your car and she hates cars lol.....

That's cool!

they do look good all in a line with the doors open, The silver one (belongs to GlynisandAndy who were members here but haven't posted for ages) and is perhaps the best one I've seen (apart from mine of course!) :D

I'd hoped to go to Donington, but I've done sound and lights for three local Pantomimes this year (requires at least two weekends worth each), plus I've got my Sera/Starlet Turbo engine swap project, and I'm restoring a Lancia track car.

I'll be at JAE and some of the other events later in the year ('cos I want to show my engine swap off!)

Sorry Andrew that wasn't a personal dig at you and some people make the effort just the general apathy of the register is frustrating sometimes

What is the GAYDON meet? Is it anywhere near the Land Rover Site? Cool if it is, its only 30 minutes from where I live - we do a lot of work on the LR Gaydon site.
