Explanation Needed.. What Is An Induction Kit?

hheellooo everybody..

so.. can someone please explain me what is an induction kit?

i mean... ok.. i know what CAI is..and i tend to understand what a k&n filter is..

so what is an induction kit and what are the warranty issues about this?

cause ive seen it for ..like 69 pounds... is that the right price? what will i gain from it?

induction kit is just a posh word for an airfilter that replaces all the cars original airbox and intake system for the cone or dome type airfilters. it generally contains a new mounting for the air flow meter aswell.

ive got the blitz filter, good sound and performance and one of the best looking, but poor filteration properties.

for better filtration then look into the Apexi filter

well after a long time i suppose it may cause some damage. but you would have to be driving down dusty lanes alot and places where a lot of crap is floating in the air i suppose?
