Celica Keeps Stopping

hi everyone,have just bought my 3rd celica after owning 2 a few years ago,such lovely and reliable cars ,not to mention how great they look and feel.

i have had loads of trouble however with this new one, 16 year old car i know but keeps blowing coils,been through 3 in about 3 weeks.am going to change rotor arm,distributor cap and maybe leads this time after putting coil number 4 on too.

my question is will in your oppinion it solve the problem or will everything blow again.

car has been off the road more than it s been on and need it for work.want to know if there are any relays that describe this problem.

just like to add that the coil is getting very hot and then splitting open and blowing up.this time however, after changing all the ignition parts which has cost a fair bit as you can imagine,and changing the coil,it still isn`t starting up.

the only thing i can think is that something is overloading the coil and something else has blown this time,either a relay or something.

any ideas would be appreciated, thanks.
