hi just got a s reg starlet sr .... need some advise or help could do with finding out if the car has a fuel cut of switch as having problems as car wont start .... its been stood for 4 mounts and not been run as it needed a fly wheel clutch and starter motor .... i have now found and fitted the parts ...but it now wont start .....help me please ...... email me on karldallen@aol.com ....or call me on my mobile 07773684742 ..... its driving me mad it must be something simple ....and i guess this is the right place to ask for help :ffs:

Don't know if there's a cut off, but someone will be along soon who does.

I assume you've checked the obvious things......Is there a spark? Are the plugs getting petrol on them? Compression OK?

It could just be something as simple as damp, as it's been standing all winter.

Also dip your finger into the coolant tank and taste it. It should taste sickly sweet. If it doesn't there could well be no Anti Freeze in it, which opens up a world of potential bad news.
