Hi all.

The wife's just changed her mobile to a Samsung galaxy.

Managed to pair it to her 2012 Rav no trouble, but can't seem to get the phone contacts to transfer over, using the 'transfer contacts' display on the screen.

Anybody had the same trouble? Or am I missing something obvious?

Thanks .Paul.

The unit in the T180 will not upload contacts from many phones.. I think its the phone sometimes and the 9004 unit others... My I phone 4S will not do it either so all contacts had to be entered manually....

Tis not the T180 Charlie..as in the OP its the wifes 2012 'touch screen' only 150hp in that nice cappuccino colour.

But the same might still apply..

Putting all her contacts in singly will take quite a while, she's got 200+

Thanks guys..

She best get busy then. .She only really needs my number to tell me she's on her way home..

Which means get the tea on.

Wouldn't worry me as I only take incoming calls..

Might see if Mr.T can help.

Does the phone have the button/ability to transfer its contacts ? The I phones do not and cannot do this.. Supposedly the worlds most popular advanced Smart phone but cant send its contents...

I had just this same problem.. But the Nav/Stereo/ screen thing in the Jag that does everything displays all the contacts on my phone without the need to either transfer or enter them manually...

As you can tell.. I aint got a scooby.................

When I pair my Samsung galaxy S3 with a touch or touch and go equipped car shortly after the pairing has been completed my phone beeps and there is a question on the phone asking if I want to allow the car to access the phone book you have to answer this as "allow". You only get this question once after pairing so if you miss this request you will have to delete and remake the pairing, once this option is allowed the phone book will transfer and the update phone book option will also work.

On touch and go equipped cars there is a second request to allow other extended functions you need to allow these as well as you only get asked once.
