Avensis T2 D-4D Door Check

I've identified a serious fault on the door checks of both front doors. Numerous stress fractures at the nuts of the door check. 6 of the same model now examined - all of them being used as taxis and all of them have the fractures to varying degrees. I'm still waiting on a response from Toyota to see if it is going to be covered under warranty but in the meantime it would be interesting to hear if anyone else has these problems. Please check if you have a 09 to 11 plate and share the results.
