Verso 2.2D4D Engines?

Hey guys,

My dad mentioned he was interested in a 2008 2.2D4D Verso, but I was a bit skeptical as I think this is before they started using the revised engines to stop them burning oil and clogging up the EGR.

Does anyone know either way?

Affected engines in the Verso were produced up to the November 2008.

I'll have to tell him to find out whether it's had the engine swap to the revised one before considering buying it then!

It says it has full dealer service history so presumably Toyota would have it on record...
