18 Rg U Twincam Engine Stalls When Idling After Warm Up

Any advice would be very welcome. The engine runs smoothly but if caught in traffic and stationery for any period of time it just dies and won't restart. Once it cools down it restarts and will be fine again unless it runs into more stationery traffic. The engine runs 2 x twin choke solex mikuni carbs with electric fuel pump, electronic ignition and electric fan. The car does not overheat and fuel vapourizing doesn't appear to be the problem either. I just read an article where someone was having a similar problem with a Scimitar (non electronic ignition I assume) and it turned out to be his coil breaking down when hot. Any suggestions??
