Thanks for the replys and I'm sure it will turn out to be the Battery on its last legs,well I hope so as theres a new un in the boot of my sons car waiting to go on then i know thats been eliminated,I did think about the interior lights but they where turned off when I gave it a jump start so assumed that they had been off all the time and the radio has not been on,I'll get the Battery on tomorrow with a bit of luck and see how it goes anyway,I'll keep you informed coz theres a few more things I need to ask about but one thing at a time eh :)
