Best Mpg I've Had Since I Bought The Car

2008 Auris TR 1.6 petrol.

Had it 10 months now... still got "half a tank" left too. makes me laugh that the first of the 9 gauges gets over 100 miles which in effect is about 20% of the tank. then once you get to half a tank it seems to fall very quickly. but I suppose you get that in any car!!!

oh, and I don't count the 1.3 mile journey back home from the petrol station which is pretty much all down hill and then end up on 78MPG. That's not a real average mileage...

I got to 432 miles on a tank... filled up then saw my guage said I still had 23 miles left...

since I filled up again though... I'm on 48 mpg!!! :-O

I get 580mile full tank in mine, over 55mpg if my math is right?

Am struggling to get mine to 40 my last two tanks yielded 39 and 37 MPG. Shall see what this tank achieves am hoping it will be the magic 40+ as my old Alfa was doing 41 MPG and I wouldn't say it was driven gently all the time.
