Just done the error code check on my air con / climate control and got Code 21 which I gather is Sunlight Sensor. Anyone any clue as to what, where and how ????

My issue has been ineffective demisting and a noisy fan together with shuddering when system first switched on particularly when outside temperature is paricularly hot or cold - this is regardless of air con switch being on or off.

I think the "sunlight sensor" was fitted in cars in the States, but not to UK cars. Could the system be low on gas?.
