Dashboard Rattle

I have an annoying rattle from the top of the dash (2009 Toyota IQ 1) on the passenger side. Is it possible to remove the black trim on the front of the dash on the passenger side (the bit that holds the vent) to get underneath. I'm sure its just a case of moving a cable or packing something.

As you know, the suspension is a bit stiff and the slightest imperfection sets off this knock/rattle. Sounds like I've got a bunch of tools in the wallet clipped to the dash.

Actually, after a little digging I've found the below which isn't too intimidating so I'll give it a go...

From the looks of the pictures here it could be the top loom touching the top of the dash inside.

I have a similar slight rattle from the same place that comes and goes, I am just living with it.

I added some wiring in that area. Just get some foam and cut it into 2 inch strips and tape it around any unsupported cables..sorted
