Hi there,

just a general question. Anyone know the wattage of the standard Speakers in the dash? Would really like to know, not sure if it tells you on the bottom of them coz i aint pulled em out...........yet :P

My original Speakers are in the loft just now but i'll get 'em down 2moro and tell u! I think they are 20W tho! :lol:

Well i've got the 1's in my signature below and i have replaced the Speakers in the door and have now got tweeters in the dash bit! Sounds brilliant!

right uknow how u unclip the wires and the plastic thing theyre in from the Speakers, do you have to get Speakers where the plug will clip into or can you cut the plastic thing off?

cut the plug off but replace with bullet crimps for if you need to put it back on

ive rewired with high quality speaker cable and the originals are still there

ditto, Im gonna use the old wires for the blue LEDs that Im gonna put in the door for the alarm

Iv fitted them! the ones in now are SPLX 50w each!! not as good with the bass, but handle singing etc wen volume is pumped up!! Might splash out soon for some more powerful ones, anyone got any recommendations??

got AudioBahn 85W RMS in mine

those should be ok, is you preout 50W?

no no no dont cut them off just buy some speaker adaptors that plug into them then into the speaker nice and clean no messing with hot irons...got them in mine
