Hi - I'm in Auckland, NZ and just bought a Vanguard 2008 V6 - 7 seater imported from Japan.

Keen to get my hands on an English user manual to help me use some of the features in cabin - as well as any advice on how to change Japanese multi-media system on the front dashboard.

Any advice through this forum would be most appreciated.

Welcome to TOC

One of the problems you have is you purchased a vehicle designed for the home Japanese market, they don't produce manuals and the like in English. You have the same problem with the multi media system, it was designed for use in Japan and you cannot flick a switch to turn it into English. You might be able to find a download for the manual online if somebody has taken the trouble to translate it, but there is no official way to order an English manual

Thank you guys - awesome. Just downloaded RAV 4 2008 manual and I'm only 3/4 of the way through it at the moment but almost everything matches....!! I keep you updated.

Go for SELECT YOUR CAR > JAPAN > 2008 > TOYOTA > VANGUARD etc etc.

- or use VIN number.

The 3.5 V6 in the Vanguard might well have been fitted to more than one Toyota vehicle sold in the USA (eg the RAV4 V6), and, IF it's the same engine type, then you would be able to get hold of a repair/users manual, in English, from the USA. Or maybe just get the publication part number, and just order it locally.
