So I'll need to buy the whole door mirror assembly, heated mirror,electric motor etc the whole lot ....just for a clear light lens.

Or I could just stick some epoxy on it and ignore it. Tough call.

Think the enquiry is a bit misleading. Kingo has said you need to buy the complete lamp - he's not actually said you need to buy the complete mirror, etc. Why not send him a personal message to clarify.

Very misleading.........I thought you meant the lens for the side repeater lamp, you never mentioned the mirror

Same rule applies though, you buy a LAMP not a lens, and it does come seperate from the mirror

The Yaris HSD has it's side repeater within the mirror assembly. Guess I was more teed off about the whole thing than I realised whilst posting. Thanks but it's going in for it's 2nd service next month so I'll just let them do it then. I was just wondering if I would be able to just change just the lens glass but the lamp within the mirror..ok hope thats not too pricey. Looking at the manual you have to prise off the mirror...so let them do it.
