ok.. the pic is of the old one. Now I need to get that big white bit off the bottom of it so I can attach it to the trd quickshift. But for the love of me I can't get it to come off at all !!!

Any ideas ??

I've tried wrenching the thing off with a screw driver... no such luck.

Have to get it sorted soon or I'll forget how to put it all back together.. lol :crybaby:

we'll just make this topic all mine... lol

I found that the quickshift makes the clunky gearbox more noticable.

Or maybe I forgot to put something really important back together ?

Sod it ! Some redline gearbox oil will do the trick.

the TRD's are the knadgers .. you can get from 1st to reverse without moving your elbow ..

Just <fnar> flick the wrist ..

it's good... they are really close together now. Although like I said you do notice the clunkyness more... but good fun.

yeah... going into reverse was weird.. I thought that I hadn't put it in because it hardly moved.. lol

I'm gonna use a small bit of glue to glue the gaitor onto the bottom of the TRD nob.. as it is there's a small gap and unlike other nobs you can't clip it on.

Petty my clutch wasn't here.. then I could really test the speedy changes...oooh !

Matt.... mmmm... beer !!... lol. Good to hear your car will be here soon !

I also somehow lost the rubber bit that sits underneath that white bit in the first pic. So I've ordered another one. Without it it's a little mroe noisy as you can hear the plastic bit stonking about.

Joy... I get to take it all apart again !

My bro has a TRD edition ST206 and had the TRD quickshift as standard. It feels awsome...every1 who sits in the car and moves the gearlevel about always comments on how smooth and short it feels.

Have the rev3+ cars got shorter shifts anyway?

I fitted my Momo gearknob and it's made it a tad highter, so I can either:

Take a hacksaw to the origonal stick (cheaper than the TRD kit.... almost the same)

Or put my stock knob back on.... even though the momo one it pretty small (see pic)
