1St Gear Problem

Hi

Our aygo had a new clutch fitted just before we purchased it. Its got 32K on the clock but I have trouble getting 1st gear and quite often find myself trying to pull away in third. I've found its ok if i go from 2nd to 1st before lifting the clutch but sometimes forget and have to dip the clutch again to get 1st. Anyone else had this? would like to know if its common before i go back to the dealers.

i would take it back to where ever you had the clutch fitted and ask them to take a look at it,i think the cables may need adjusting

Car been with Dealers (our local Lookers) since Tuesday. I've been told the fault is a snapped selector cable,I would have thought a snapped cable would have caused more problems than just having trouble getting gear?
