Prius 2010 Dashboard Kit

Does anyone know where to buy a wood effect dashboard kit for a Prius T Spirit

Bought one years ago for a Rav 4 which really lifted the interior but I cannot find anyone who makes them for the Prius

Any help would be appreciated

They are available on Amazon.com and eBay.com - you would need to purchase from the US. Just be careful to ensure the dashboard/centre console layout is the same.

You could try http://global.rakuten.com/en/ this is Japan market and I have bought from them in the past, and they do genuine toyota parts and have different interrior trims, the japanesse car are all right hand drive and should be compatable with european cars.

Just enter your information in the search and all information will be shown, if it is in japanesse their is a box to change to english

You will also have to pay vat to customs and a payment to parcel post which is another £13 this will all be collected by parcel post.

Also check prices in the US market.

All the US ones I found seemed to be for LHD vehicles only, I could not find one that stated it could supply RHD kits

I have taken the plunge and ordered one from Japan http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/sunrise-auto/item/nr-0168/, let's just hope it arrives safe and sound as I am looking forward to not staring at so much grey plastic

On another note I have driven a Honda Insight for the last three years and have only just bought the Prius but the Toyota certainly feels more substantial and is more of a joy to drive, probably because it has more toys to play with. Having said that the Honda is substantially cheaper and has averaged over 57 mpg since I have had it. It is also a quiet, comfortable car but not as good as a Prius in my humble opinion

I've been looking for the same thing for my Gen III, but so far I haven't bought anything.

I found one U.S. site that does RHD kits, ( http://www.exoticwoodtrim.com/productdetail.asp?pid=2159 ) and I sent them off an e-mail asking a few questions. That was at the end of May and I still haven't recieved a reply.

Looking at your Rakuten link, that looks like a nice kit ........... but, is there a cut-out missing?

On the piece that surrounds the radio and hooks around under the steering wheel, there doesn't appear to be a cut-out that allows the mph/kph button to be accessed (next to the HUD buttons) (Like this one - http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/auc-screate/item/pt629/)
