no the red and white wires are NOT connected together, if you look at the plugs, on 1 side of the car R&W is pin 7 on the other side of the car its pin 6

what I showed you gives you

2 indicators

2 reverse

2 fog (small red)

2 stop/tail (big red)

what you could do

2 indicators

1 reverse

1 fog (instead of another reverse(you will need red bulbs or LEDs))

2 tail (small red)

2 stop/tail (big red)

or

2 indicators

1 reverse

1 fog (instead of another reverse(you will need red bulbs or LEDs))

2 stop/tail (small red)

2 stop/tail (big red)

or

2 indicators

2 reverse

2 fog/tail (small red)

2 stop/tail (big red)

its upto you

The lexus light you have will plug and play on my Vitz. So it is designed for the Japanese Domestic Market. When I installed my UK rear light (right hand side, for the fog light) I had to extend all my wiring and make solder connections to the UK metal strip style light. It's just a matter of sitting down and working out which is which. here is a break down of the cars colour codes:

White/Black-Earth

Green-side light

Green/White-Brake

Red/White-Reverse

Green/Yellow-Indicator

Al.
