Please Help Horrible Suspension Noise!

Just got my celica (96 GT) back last week after having it lowered 40mm, looks excellent(will post pics later). Anyway on my way home i hear this terrible knocking noise from the 2 back struts, at the top. Booked it back into the garage next day. They could not for the life of them find what is making this noise, everything is tightened up, bump stops were shortened, everything put back the way it came off (so they say). Also it has already had the roll bar bushes replaced a few months ago.

It has been back to the garage 4 times now and still no solution. I think it is something to do with were the spacer is positioned when the struts are put back in, but they say it isnt.

PLEASE could someone who has had this problem or knows of a way to solve it let me know, cos the sounds can only go so loud as to cover the knock
