New Auris Hybrid One Week In

Hello,

I've had my new Auris Excel Hybrid just over a week now, done about 500 miles so these are my first thoughts:

The car feels well made, no rattles or squeaks.

Nice smooth ride, even on the 17" low profile tyres.

MPG works out, so far at 59MPG, mostly motorway speeds.

Lots of toys, not used them all yet, but the satnav, car info, and DAB radio are simple to use.

Skyview roof makes the car feel roomier.

Noticed a little wind noise, but only above 60MPH with a cross wind, otherwise very quite.

Reversing beeps are a little annoying, will ask the dealer if it can be cancelled.

The front nearside quarter visibility a bit restricted, still getting used to it.

So, all in all pretty good and I'm pleased with my new car.

Glad you like it. I suspect requests to turn off the reversing beeps are well up there on the most common jobs a Toyota dealer has to do. First thing we asked our dealer to do when we got our Prius! :)
