Looking For Used Parts (D4D Battery Holder)

Hi everyone

I'm looking for used parts, do you know if it's easy to get some specific parts ?

This time i'm particularly looking for the Battery holder parts of the D4D motor, see attached pictures.

Here are the part numbers I'm looking for :

74404A - 74404-74020

74413 - 74451-58011

74431 - 74431-52040

74412A - 74410-74010

I know I can buy these directly from Toyota, but the price they ask are a bit too high :ermm:

Thanks for any help !

uski

Are you in the UK?

If not buying from Toyota then its going to have to be from a Breaker with an iQ in or a Toyota with the same parts is it not?

Well, not that I hope that people crash their car :D, but I was hopping for someone to come up and say "hey, I crashed my car, and it's a D4D" or "hey, I work at a garage and we have a crashed car" where I could salvage the parts.

It turns out that I was, maybe, a little bit too optimistic :)

But you never fail unless you try !

Well until they do, you could google for an iQ that has been crashed and at a breakers.

Call them and say

"hey, i believe you have an iQ breaking, do you have these parts still?"

Good chance they they will, unless someone else got them first.

An imported Diesel.

They were not offered for sale in the UK

Not going to be much chance of one being crashed in the UK and Written off and then getting broken for parts.

Maybe 'uski' can tell us why he needs the parts, and the back story. Please i am nosy.

Thought as much, Didn't think the diesel one was an option in the UK.

May well be a common part to them all though. There are always some being broken for spares on eBay, Do a search for Toyota iQ breaking and you will find a few.

Most of them have their contact details on the auction so you may get lucky but don't expect to get things cheap, A breaker once tried to charge me £60 for a £45 Toyota part!
