Rav4 Radio

I have a rav4 xtr 2.2tdi 4x4 on a 10 plate, the radio has no back light on it but the little lcd temp display below the radio lights up orange, so I cant see whats on the radio at night. I took it to toyota and was told this model has no back light, is this true has anyone else got this problem.

It should have a similar orange light. A good radio specialist should sort it if you don't fancy a go. They also pop up on eBay but make sure you get the right one with bluetooth.

Thanks, but its still under warranty when I took it back to the dealer I was told that this model did not have a back light, why would they not put a back light on the radio even old cars have a back lit radio, have I been fobbed off ?
