Aygo Clutch

Good Morning All,

I am new here and this is my first post, so hello to everyone,

My apologies if this has been covered before

I think I might have a problem with my clutch/pedal on my Aygo, and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or heard of it, in the last month or so, it has starting to feel like something is rubbing then you press the clutch pedal down to the floor and you can hear slightly that it is rubbing against something, its like it has three notches when you press the clutch, it comes and goes and is intermittent, it mainly happens after the car has been running for a bit and I have done quite a few gear changes

The history of the clutch it was replaced 6 months ago and had a 3 part clutch fitted, (clutch, bearing and cable) I have taken it back to the garage where I had the new one fitted and they greased up the pedal and said see how that goes, it returned after a few days I took it back and they said we can't seem to find a problem with it and just keep driving on it, I am now stuck what to do because it I go back to the same garage I am worried they will say the same thing, I have had shown family and friends this is happening so it not just me, this is the third clutch the car has had since new

If anyone has any comments on this one I would be grateful

i would go to another garage and tell them what you are experiencing and see if they come up with any ideas just in case the original garage knows what it is and they just dont want to let on as it will cost them a lot in time.

Was the clutch a genuine one or an after market one? If it was after market one was it the larger 190mm clutch plate, if not the new one could be breaking up already
