Rav4 Newbie

Hi All

Have just bought a very nice '54 plate Rav4 D4D XT4.

This is not only my first Rav4, it is also my first Toyota and for that matter, my first car of Japanese origin. I lost my cherry big style.

I have already been searching the forum for info about the possibility of adding DIY cruise control and will be chasing that up seriously when the dust settles.

hello John. If you search the RAV4 forum for another member - Hoovie - I think he may have added this at one time - he did lots to his RAVs.

Thanks b_b. After searching the Rav4 forum, I found the information which today allowed me to successfully add cruise control to my Rav for a total outlay of just £14. The cost of a used stalk switch - my XT4 already had the clutch switch fitted as standard.

Surely proof of the worth of this forum.
