Brake Light

My N/S passenger side brake light isn't working, bulbs all tested fine and 3rd and O/S Drivers side is working.

Would it be the bulb holders or the wiring?

Everything else is working. Thanks.

2004 Hatchback.

You could check the terminals in the holder with a multimeter - it should show 12 volts when the brake is applied. Or, if you don't have a multimeter, a 12v bulb rigged up with positive and earth wires the way a timing light was made in the old days.

It would also be worth checking for corrosion on the terminals in the holder as they are susceptible to water ingress. Even a small amount of corrosion can be enough to stop a bulb lighting.

Was corroded a bit. Some sand paper done the trick.

Cheers.
