Oil Pressure

Anyone know how to fit an oil pressure gauge to the 2.0 d4d diesel? I have found the oil filter but I don't think a sandwich plate can be used as I believe that it uses a disposable paper filter instead of a whole filter assembly? Plus, does anyone know where the oil drain plug is? I have found two small flaps that can be opened on the under tray and one has the filter, the other has some felt or something similar on top of it.

Well have found the plug now after searching through the mound of felt mounted on my undertray (never seen that before). But anyone have any ideas on where/how to fit an oil presure sending unit as a sandwich plate cannot be used. I dont really want to be making any more holes either.

Don't know anything specific about the Auris but if you have an oil pressure warning light then that will possibly be switch operated somewhere on the engine. If it is then use that hole in the block to connect the gauge. However disconnecting the warning light switch may cause problems with the engine management system. Trial and error is the only way to find out.
