Supagard Car Polish

Hi All

Has anyone ever applied Supagard to his or her car and if so is there any special way you have to apply it. I just bought the wife a new car and had the option to have it done at the Dealer for £300 inside and out but £300 is a lot of money on top of a new car.

From what I've heard Supagard is much more superior to Diamondbrite. I only want to apply it to the exterior not the inside and I would prefer to do it myself then take it to a valeters not that there’s anything wrong with valeters.

I’m hoping someone can give me some advice?

Thanks

John

Hi

Last year I bought a new Avensis and decided to go for the Supaguard option from the dealer. The first thing I have to say is that it is very good and does seem to work well.

About 6 months ago I decided to treat my partners Ford KA with it. To be honest it is just likeputting ordinary polish on, but you will have to be prepared for a bit of hard work in getting it off. I took it off by hand and its not a problem it just makes you arm ache that all. You can obviously use an electric buffer machine to make the job easier, but you can do it all byhand as I did.

The results were very good and I will probably do the Ford agan in the summer also.

Hope this helps

Thanks Marcus, I contacted Supagard off the net and told me they only sell to the trade except the after care products, but like most things there's a way around it. At least you've given me some idea what to expect. My partners got a Corsa and if its as good as you say I'll probably do it to my Avensis, I try to polish them regularly.

Thanks for replying
