Mate, I've heard alot about Koni and most of it aint good. One thing you could tell us is how much you want to lower it by? A mate of mine got Koni's for his 106 and they didnt even fit  straight from Koni themselves i might add coz he's in the business. Also im sure there was someone on here who went from one thing to Koni's then back to another brand?

Anyway:

When i lowered my motor (same model) I wanted Koni and the only place i could find that did them was Motor-world they wanted about £450 for the set... so i got myself a set of spax springs (-40mm) which are much better than Koni according to mates of mine in the know, and some standard KYB shocks. the total was just under £300 and im pleased with the results.

For a similar budget and probably a better option now that ive had more experience i'd go for Fensport 20% lowering springs (-35mm drop) and KYB +20% shocks that set through Fensport would be £390 still cheaper than Koni!

If you have serious money to play with then (still through Fensport) get a TRD susspension set for £990 or TRD Coil-overs for £1200 but thats for real performance.

For the full exhaust system id go to somewhere like Powerflow if you want each section custom made.

Not sure about high-lift cams, check out kentcams through google...

Enjoy

Whats the most you can drop it without changing the shocks or it that just not advised period?

It really depends on two things. 1. how good the standard shocks are and 2. how old they are. For instance, both me and a mate dropped our cars by 40mm. his was a 97 mine a 92 i had to get new shocks, he didnt. But generally as a rule if u can afford to do it, its well worth doing shocks and springs because ideally you want either shorter shocks or uprated shocks...
