My wife has a 1.0l auto Vitz which is turbo'd. It's currently running 0.4 bar on the standard internals and without intercooler. It's probably making about 90bhp. 0-60 is just under 10 secs.

When we fit the intercooler and boost controller and possibly larger injectors and run 0.6/7 bar it should make around 120/130bhp and make it to 60 in about 8.5 secs.

I'm convinced you need 130bhp plus to get under 9 seconds.

It will be even better with forged pistons and nitrous! :D

Hi I've been a member of this forum for a while. I have a supra which is currently having the Veilside Fortune kit fitted to it.

My wife has a 1.0l auto 5 door vitz. It has a full custom bodykit (front and rear splitters and side skirts), lexus style rear lights, 15" alloys with Falken tyres, standard shocks with lowering springs. It has an HKS turbo conversion with ecu and a hks boost gauge! As I said it is currently running .4 bar of boost. The car is dark metallic blue and has about 1.5" ground clearance all round! I'll try and post some pics for you guys soon when I get the digital camera sorted.

We have got a lot more plans for this car! Will we be the first 200bhp Yaris/Vitz in the country?!?

200bhp is possible but I think the auto box will ***** itself long before then! I feel another nightmare manual conversion coming on....!

With forged pistons, hybrid turbo, 20psi of boost, straight through system, programmable ecu, very lumpy cam and a 50 shot of nos it is easily obtainable!

We have 2 litre engines that are putting out 700bhp, so 200bhp out of a 1 litre is not gonna be a problem.

I just need to get the lead for the digi camera and then I will upload pics.

Incidently the car will be at Japfest this Sat on the Nemesis stand.

This was with a stop watch and several attempts. My friend has got a accelerometer (spelling?) which is very accurate if you input the weight of the car.
