Hi all, i'm a new member on this forum after buying a 2001 2.0vvti avensis.

My car developed a misfire on the journey back from the MOT station (passed 1st time) and after plugging in the OBDII tool it came back with P0430 (catalyst system efficiency below threshold bank 2) and P1215 (manufacturer control).

I was wondering whether anyone would be able to advise me what is likely to be the cause of these fault codes as I think they are related somehow? I was uncertain that it would be a faulty Cat as it went straight through the MOT a few hours earlier.
