think we should get a list of starlet owners who want some base plates makin for these mirrors an call 1 of the companies who make them to get there ***** in gear and make us some!!!!!! :ffs:

Cant remember what i used for mine when i had the sr, what i did was nipped to the local ripspeed and took a mirror off (it's only 2 maybe 3 bolts) and kept trying base plates till one looked like it nearly fitted. Other option is to have the standard ones sprayed which does help the looks loads.

Well if anybody knows some one with an astra with aftermarket wing mirrors then best that someone nicks his/hers wingmirrors for half an hour and see if they fit. it would be handy to find out which ones fit

I know modded Civic one's are sposed to fit the Paseo, don't know how similar your mirrors are?

Yea it is Gen2 as Paseopimp poster 'snaikoil' used them on his I believe.

Hi there Matt,

Have you had any chance to fit ur mirrors on yet? i went into hallies to ask the guy about the mirrors fitting onto the starlet he said it won't unless you go get it molded in :(

So just wanna know if you have done urs.

No i havent fitted them yet as i have not found any base plates that fit but i will wait till my bodyshop can fit the car in and then tell them to find a plate that they can mod to fit.

i will keep u posted.

not as yet as i still have to get my side skirts before it goes to the body shop but sooner rather than later.
