Car Losing Power

Hi

I have Toyota 2006 2.0 D4D diesel car.

Here is the story, my car looses power driving around 70mph. I change the gear to 4th and after few seconds it would run fine, but won’t go above 80mph. On hills I have to drive on 3rd gear.( it keep losing power after every 10 miles or so).

Drives fine locally.

Recently full service done ( car have full service history). EGR value cleaned yesterday.

Can somebody please share their knowledge on this.

Sounds like a fuel starvation problem

Change the fuel filter (again-even if done so recently)

Check SCV valves
