A Funny Moment

Well, did myself a mini service today and while draining and re-filling the oil I took a look around the engine bay for the spark plugs.

I reckon I can get to the spark plugs without removing a lot of the things mentioned in the manual. I reckon there is room to get the manifold out the car without taking the wiper motor out or separating the throttle body from the manifold so it suddenly becomes a lot easier.

Looks like you can simply remove the coolant pipes to the throttle body and plug them to stop too much coolant leaking out, Remove a few breather and vacuum pipes, remove a support bracket at the front of the manifold and then remove the bolts holding the manifold on.

Looks a lot easier than I thought and well worth a go when the weather warms up a bit. :)

Craig.
