hi,

my ariel has broken on my mr2 does anyone know if they can be repaired and if so where could i buy a repair kit.

You can just replace the mast if that's all that is broken. There is a complete unit for a rev 1/2 MKII on eBay at the moment.

You'll have to go to either Toyota or a breakers. I think the mast assembly is around £50 from Toyota. Think there is a how to fix it on the IMOC sites technical section.

Hi, I had the same problem and just bought a replacement unit from Halfords. Not an original toyota but easy to fit and looks good. just hook up the electrics, didnt take long at all. cost around £45. cheers ja

I have heard of people buying aerials from places like Halfords and putting the fittings that connect it to the body off their old aerial onto it to make sure it fits properly. Did you have to do that or did it fit OK anyway??
