Where To Get Front Wipers 2009+

Okay, so Halfords have told me they'll charge between £70 and £90 for a replacement set of wipers for my '59 Prius and suggested I go to eBay. But the wipers on eBay are the same as Halfords stock and apparently they aren't the correct ones - sigh. So, anyone here know where I can get a pair of front wipers that will fit?

Cheers all.

Presumably you're looking at Wiper Blades - you could consider

(if you follow the Autobulbs link in Sponsors Corner of the Community page, you get a 5% discount)

http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/custom_modules/finder/results.php?carid=30361&type=car

http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_trksid=p4738.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.X2010+toyota+prius+wiper+blades&_nkw=2010+toyota+prius+wiper+blades&_sacat=0&_from=R40

Are the blades OK, and do you just need the rubber inserts - which would be significantly cheaper. The rubber inserts are trickier to fit, but you retain the original blades.

You could also send Parts King (again see Sponsors Corner) a private message and ask for his prices on blades and rubber inserts.

Try your local dealer, they can sell you new rubber inserts to fit your original wipers, no need to replace whole thing

http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/

First class service, keen prices.

+1. I've had wipers from them in the past and they replaced one FOC when it had a broken adapter and they didn't even want the old one back. Excellent service.

I got both my front rubbers replaced by the local Toyota dealer for about £20 fitted. Always check your main dealers for prices as they're not always expensive. Some things are actually cheaper and you also don't get some 16 year old, minimum wage kid from Halfords messing with your car!
