jaxx remote power for the amp?

yeah as for that i think your gonna need to either wire up a manual remote lead for the amps or use a signal produced by the ignition to turn on the amps as the yaris unit........as far as i know doesnt have a remote out???

can someone tell me if the toyota sub is amped........

Sorry bout this guys!!! :crybaby: I just dont know anything about this or what uz r sayin, my mate sorta knows how to wire it up, im just gathering more information! And need to find out what else i will need to buy, so he can hav a crack at doing it!

Coz lookin at the diagram, i need wire to hook upto the Battery (no idea what type of wire, red & black? ) i need a fuse  what type of fuse  and i need a ground wire (wheres that get wired too?).

If anyone can type a list of what i need, then il go buy em, print this off and give it to my mate!!! :group-cuddles:

1 red power lead at least at 8awg (gauge) wire with a fuse within 6icnhes of the Battery that is the same rating as the amps built in fuse

1 black ground lead with a ring terminal to mounted on the cars bodywork

1 remote lead (normal wire will do) to switch the amp on (gotta sort some sort of source for this)

speaker cable to extend the headunits original outputs down to the boot.

ok so you cant use the RCA lead but an amp kit will still make the rest of it easier, plus you have an RCA if you upgrade your headunit in the future
