Vvtli Fan Belt How To

I need to change my fan belt. I know how to relieve the tensioner.

But does anyone have any advice on how to access the belt as there doesn't seem to be a lot of room.

I'm thinking about lowering the engine down on the o/s in order to access the pulleys better.

Take the drivers side front wheel off and take off the arch plastics, gives access to the belt, no need to lower the engine. Have done it twice, it is easier to have someone give you a hand when replacing the belt.

Try changing the water pump, now that's very tight but just about doable
