Hi all,

I got my carina's dash board damaged. (its an old car '89) The recsine is waisted attwo places, and can see the yellow sponge ;-(. Is there any way to cover this up without replacing the whole dash board?

I know this probably isn't the kind of solution you're looking for, but a cloth dashboard cover will do wonders in disguising any cracks in the dashboard. At least, that's what I did on my '77 Corona.

you could try sticking some vynal over the damaged trim but you would see the repair. Maybe you could use contrasting vynal, just an idea :P
