Double Beep?

Just bought a 2 year old yaris - happy so far. Just one very minor oddity.

When i drive to work, i hear a quick double beep from the dash as I past the same spot each morning. I made sure i had no devices connected nor the radio on this morning and still heard it at the same place. Any ideas what it is?

I suspect you are hearing the speed camera warning from your touch & go navigation system, next time you make the trip put your navigation map on screen and look for the speed camera symbol.

Hi lee, thanks for your reply. There is no speed camera at that location.

I hear the beep whether the touch and go is on or off. Any other ideas?

The double beep will happen whether of not the nav is actually on screen, your map maybe out of date by now and reporting a non existent camera, as the only that gives a quick double beep is the camera warning. Try registering your car via the touch and go section at Toyota.co.uk and updating your nav with the latest software ( you can also buy map updates there too )

Thanks Lee, i'll do that this weekend. I'll also drive past a speed camers which I know exists just for the sake of it!
